Sky Reaching Sculpture

Lin Lin

Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Sky Reaching Sculpture by Lin Lin They developed this concept of the Sky Reaching Pole by researching the acrobats of the Tang Dynasty. Dignitaries from around the world were entertained by the acrobats of the court. The creative team researched and built many motifs of the acrobats before the final design was executed. The sculpture is over four meters high giving the feeling of suspense. The poles and the figures are abstract in nature but contemporary with metallic color. These acrobats were the main attraction during the inaugural celebration of the Tang as the sculpture is for the entrance of it.
