Inside Out Design Event

Event and Happening Design Inside Out Design Event by Hong Kong Trade Development Council Inside Out is an event design created for DesignInspire, a three day exhibition held in Hong Kong. The concept turns a temporary wall structure inside out to expose all of its workings. Untreated plywood panels, off the shelf fixings and hired scaffolding form the entrance wall, the reception counter, the open forum, two open workshops and the communal display areas. A set of rules was prepared before construction to reduce onsite waste and to allow materials to be reused. The raw and neutral setting contrasts with the graphics and the products on display.
