Polonceau Railway Carriage Multimedia Installation
Pitch Bureau
Cultural Heritage and Culture Industry Design Polonceau Railway Carriage Multimedia Installation by Pitch Bureau Polonceau Railway Carriage is a multimedia installation created for a railway museum. The installation pairs a rare historical carriage with a multi-screen video wall that moves alongside it. The wall is 4.2 metres high, holds five screens and travels about 22 metres. The video shows the interior of a private premium carriage used by senior Soviet officials, including a kitchen, compartments, a drawing room and a study. Filmed scenes are combined with computer graphics, and the video is synchronised with the moving wall, so visitors see episodes that may have happened inside.
