Pop Star View Platform

Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Pop Star View Platform by Li Hao Pop Star is an art installation and view platform based on the geometric shape of the icosahedron. The work is built as a steel structure measuring 15000 mm in each direction. The form is derived from the compound eye of an insect, enlarged to a scale beyond normal human visual reading. Visitors can enter the central area and look out over the surrounding fields. From the outside the volume appears solid and imposing, while the inner space feels quiet and enclosed. Pop Star was designed in Beijing in 2019 and completed in Shanghai in 2020.
