Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design Nostalgia Moon Wearable Art by Chelsea Shin Nostalgia Moon is a fashion collection inspired by the shape and phases of the moon in the night sky. The collection recalls nights of prayer and memories of a grandmother. Circles are added to basic bodice patterns, and flexible boning is placed along the edges of each garment. The boning holds the soft curves of the round moon and gives every piece a three-dimensional form. The looks are draped on a size 4 female dress form and a size 36 male dress form. The collection was developed between August 2020 and May 2021.
