Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design Light Surge Womenswear Collection by 陈 扬 Light Surge is a womenswear collection that combines optical fiber with garment fabrics. The design explores the relationship between materials, technology and clothing. Optical fiber cloth, hanging fibers and hand-sewn crystal chains form a three-dimensional structure around the body. LED strips are inlaid into the garment structure. The light changes between blue and white in color and brightness. A set program runs with a switch, and mobile phone software allows control within a limited range. Glowing marine life inspired the collection.
