Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Radiant Bloom Public Art by Kuo Kuo-Hsiang Radiant Bloom is a public sculpture created for an architectural void. The work is made of high strength stainless steel with a fully mirror polished finish. Multiple curved elements form intersecting archways that recall a fountain and a blooming flower. The sculpture spans a circular ceiling void and extends into a ground level water feature with a transparent glass pool base. Daylight passes through the pool into the underground space below. A programmable LED lighting system adds changing colour. The mirrored surface reflects the sky and the surrounding landscape.
