Cultural Heritage and Culture Industry Design Elogio de la Sombra de Buenos Aires Exhibition and Identity by Martina Zangari Elogio de la Sombra de Buenos Aires is a site specific exhibition and visual identity created for the Centro Cultural Borges. The exhibition presents twelve miniature scenes of daily life in downtown Buenos Aires, inspired by a poem by Jorge Luis Borges. Paper cutouts are placed inside micro perforated cylindrical capsules that light them and project their shadows. The installation occupies five shop windows. Calligraphic symbols from the institutional archive were digitized for titles, labels and printed materials. An interactive microsite is reached through a code on the windows.
