Fine Arts and Art Installation Design The Big Bounce Object Astrophysics Theory Sculpture by Timo Brunkhorst This object represents a theoretical model of the origin of the universe. It combines the current scientific knowledge about the universe and the Fibonacci sequence. The object illustrates the familiar three dimensions known to us, and brings out the strong interrelation between time and space as well. The symmetrical and quadratic structure was visually focused in the design. The number of discs stand for the different phases in the development of our universe. The color of the sculpture changes with different viewing angles from cooper to a very intense purple.
