Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Octagon Lighting by Chen Tat Pin, Mac Octagon: Inspired by Bagua evolved from Tai Chi, Yin Yang and Wu Xing. Through the structural intersection of wood block, metal buckle, the delicate relationship between points, lines and the surface is displayed. Wu Xing represents the five elements (metal, wood, water, fire, earth), heartily experienced through a balanced composition of crafted material making up the Octagon lamp.
